At FOB we have a vibrant Prayer Ministry. We have a strong emphasis on prayer because we believe God answers prayer! Prayer is a privilege and a responsibility for every believer. You are invited to participate in one or more of the following opportunities in prayer:

Prayer Meetings

PRE-SERVICE PRAYER:  Sundays, 9 AM, Prayer Room.  Led by a team of intercessors under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.  Prayers are made for all the churches in the community who meet to worship Jesus and share the full gospel.  Join us in making a strong impact in our services through prayer.

PARENTS OF PRODIGALS:  Last Tuesday of the month, 7 PM, Prayer Room. POPS is led by a team of intercessors with a burden for prodigal sons and daughters.  If you are the parent of a prodigal or know a prodigal, we would love to have you join us in lifting them up to the Father. Youth & Young Adults are invited to pray for their generation and everyone with a burden for the lost.

MEN’S PRAYER GROUP:  Tuesdays, 6 AM, Hospitality Room. Led by Pastor Don.  All men are encouraged to come for prayer & Bible study.

PRAYER FOR MISSIONARIES & NATIONS: 1st Friday monthly, 11:30 AM, Conference Room.  Led by Bev Dennen and Fairlie Pasfield.  Come join us as we lift up our missionaries and the nations of the world!  Prayer for the United States is also included in conjunction with Intercessors for America.

ASK PRAYER NETWORK: 2nd Friday monthly, 10 AM, Conference Room.  Led by Bev Dennen.  Do have a heart to stand in the gap for others, or do you desire to be mentored in your prayer life? Praying the Scripture is at the heart of this international prayer network.

YOUTH PRAYER:  Fridays, 6 PM, Prayer Room.  All parents and youth are encouraged to join us on Fridays before Fortress to pray for the service, area youth and our nation.  Help us as we stand in the gap!

PRAYER FOR SCHOOLS: Karen Wall leads an outreach prayer group for Samoset Elementary School.  If you’re interested in lifting up Karen and her group, as well as praying for other area schools, students and faculty.
